The bespoke programmes that I am creating go back to the good old days of paper and pen. After our initial talk, whether this be a meeting in person or a chat over the phone, I will create a programme that takes into consideration your family and social life, your work life and potential commitments this entails and any injuries that you may have or may have had. The programme will be realistic and wont ask you to go for a long run after a long day at work or on your partners birthday! Once this has been taken care of, all you have to do is wait.
Then, through the post you will receive your pack. This will include a gym towel and a folder. In the folder you will find basic nutritional information and information about your event, course route, incline etc so you can start seeing what you have let yourself in for. You will also receive your training programme. This will include a simple overview plan that points out where and when you will be training. This will then be broken down into smaller sections before eventually broken down in to each session when required. Being on paper, you can make notes, write down ideas or potential problems and questions. I will then be on the end of the phone or on email to answer your questions. Being a small folder, you can take it anywhere, whenever you want. The programme will be very specific to you.
